Seek Hope

Condemned in darkness
You feel there is no hope
No light shines down
You are walking a tight rope.

How you wish to escape
Your misery
Clawing your way
To seek freedom,
You struggle in your cage
Of darkness
Your only wish is
To have some faith.

You are sadden
That you gave up
Sinking deeper in your hole
Your head hangs down
No glisten in your eyes.

I give you the gift of courage
For that is what you need,
Have faith in yourself
And there you will seek hope.
