The World Is Cruel

The day is long,
So I'll write a song,
Just to get me by,
Cause everything is going wrong.

I hate this world,
Everyone is so mean.
Why can't we all just get along,
And be friends with each other?

People call you names,
And put you down,
But you don't show that it bothers you,
So they just do it more.

You hide that you're sad,
And no one sees it in you.
It's like you're made of glass,
And they're just looking through you.
