I don't know how to say it.
What he made me feel,
I don't know how to write it,
But I know it was real.

It started with just a "hi,"
A kiss on the cheek,
A hidden "I love him" sigh,
I couldn't even speak.

Barely anything said,
Wanting to say how I feel,
So many things going thru my head
Knowing my feelings were real.

I wanted him to hug me,
I wanted to feel safe in his embrace
I love him thats what I want him 2 c
But what is my place?

See, even though he may still care,
He wants me as a friend,
But what we had was rare,
And being with him would truly make my heart mend!

And then as we were about to part,
I held his hand,
And something filled my heart,
This feeling that wasn't quite planned.

Butterflies going through me,
My heart racing,
I hope he can see!
The whole time I wished we were embracing!

I love him so much,
More than I can say,
And just feeling his touch...
It's something I wish I could feel every day!
