Never Had Him At All

When he told me he loved me,
I believed it was true,
But then he went and left me,
And now I don't know what to do.

Everything he told me,
Was only a lie,
He got the best of me,
And watched me die.

He never really cared about me,
Only wanted to watch me fall.
Just placed me by his side,
I never really had him at all.
