Summer love

by Keath   Oct 24, 2006

Rain is straining along the glass
Sky of black covered with spray
Wind is whispering through branches
Daring me to understand its say

On cloudy summer nights of black
The shadows covered with tiny beams
I go outside without a sound
Knowing it's more enchanting than dreams

Down the hillock covered with bloom
The wind encouraging my various steps
I collapse down on my final round
When the darkness around me wraps

Drops are twinkling through the sky
The breath of trees soothing me
There is nothing above summer storms
Please take me on another flee

Once again a well written peice of poetry. Your words and how you use them are outstanding. I do however wish it was a little longer, seems to be kind of short.

You are brilliant! This is a beautiful description of nature. You painted a picture so beautiful that it held me trapped until the end. I wish it was a little longer though. lol 5/5 Keep writing these terrific poems.
