Imagine Love

by foua   Nov 6, 2006

Imagine giving everything you own to poverty
Imagine receiving the most exclusive beauty
Imagine having enough faith to move mountains
Imagine rebuffing the cruelest intentions
Without the grace of love
You have gained nothing at all

Imagine obtaining the greatest gift
Imagine confering one magnificent honor
Imagine possessing a majestic glory
Imagine relenting from temerity
Without the grace of love
You have gained nothing at all

Imagine life without integrity
Imagine discarding your family
Imagine loyalty with no purpose
Imagine respect from a rival
With the grace of love
You have gained an eternity

I didn't *quite* get that. Love is a very big part of life, though, I'll grant you that..
Perhaps not so repetitive would have been good..
"Imagine relenting from temerity" Does that mean escaping from fear..? some of the lines were a little difficult to understand, but still, not too bad.
    Keep writing:-)
