A Letter to Santa

by Scrittore   Nov 27, 2006

My letter to you this year Santa is the same as last
I still haven’t received it and another year has passed.
Was I not good enough Santa, didn’t I make your list?
I’ve been extra good this year Santa, please deliver it

I’m asking again Santa, please may I
Have a real loving family this year, I’ll wait to July
I don’t need clothes or toys – rather a home
One that I can call my very own.

I have some cookies I’ll leave by my tree
I picked out a good one in the park for free
Christmas morning the cookies are gone
As I wake up alone again on the lawn
