Feelings I Hide

During these days of my life I knew, that we weren't meant to be.
Days past, and my love for you grew stronger.
It became harder to hide these feelings inside.
Every smile you smiled makes my heart light on fire.
Every moment with you, is one more time I strive to tell you.
Tell you the words that reiterate in my head:
"I LOVE YOU, I NEED YOU..."
My devotion for you won't die when we say goodbye.
One day I had to abandon this place,
The place where we met, where I started to fall.
I wished to see you, to touch you, to hold you in my arms for one last time.
I longed and longed to see you during my last days here...
And you weren't there.
I never had the chance to say goodbye...
To tell you about these feelings I hide.
But was I really going to tell you?
Was I really going to pour my heart out to you?
I'm probably just making excuses on why I wasn't able to tell you,
If only I can tell you that this love is for real, this love is true.
That this heart was made just for you.
