Dreams of Him

by elli_unleashed   Apr 4, 2007

The darkness emits a moonlit shadow in the dark abyss I call passion,
Mystery weeps tears across these satin sheets.
Alliances are broken in the midst of forbidden love,
As the darkness soothes my heart to calm beats.
He touches me as though he has never made love,
Though it pleases me to know I am his only lover tonight.
The sheets sashay across our bodies as if sheets of rain,
The passion, the love, the desire- how I feel so right.
If only these dreams were real and his touch confirmed,
Instead of false fantasies of a love in need of a lover.
These dreams of him make tears flow upon my cheeks,
As I sashay into sleep and dive under the cover.
