Broken speech

Flooring
in pouring
I had a scare
it left my feelings bare
raw emotion
strong devotion
anger and shame
crying in the rain
hiding in the dark
mending a broken heart
it is all the lies
that brought tears to my eyes
my lips the color of Satan's blood
my jeans torn and caked with mud
I am having hard time
leaving the past behind
familiar faces
familiar places
going down the hi way of life
searching for my butterfly knife
here I toke
strangled by the smoke
blinded by hate
is it too late late
to show the sorrow
praying for a better tomorrow
broken and bruised
alone and confused
silvered in the moons eclipse
tears falling from my lips
as I shiver and shake
more to take
as I grow older
bolder
look in the rear view
don't know what to do
giving in
demons within
razor blade
so afraid
numb and sad
it hurts so bad
I wish it was done
no where to run
fake smiles
lonely miles
pretend emotions
raging oceans
baby's cry
mother's sigh
devil in disguise
