we go to the movies with you in my arms watching movies

we say goodbye with a quick hug
In my dreams
I give you a big hug and a passionate kiss goodbye

we express our friendship
In my dreams
we express our love

You live down the road
In my dreams
we live together
In real life
you are raising your kids alone
In my dreams
I am helping you raise your kids
In real life
we go to bed sleeping alone
In my dreams
we fall asleep cuddling together
In real life
we are scared of getting hurt
In my dreams
we know we won't hurt each other

we see each other here and there
In my dreams
we wake up to each other
In real life
we talk sometimes over the phone and net
In my dreams
we talk everyday
In real life
I am ready to go to sleep into dream land

I don't want to wake up because I am with you the way it should be
