A Heart's Dream

by Bob   Aug 30, 2007

Be still thy heart beat not long not for her.
Why now why here do my feeble sinful emotions stir?
Gorge out with heated daggers thine lustful eye.
For she has stolen my spirit oh how I am shy.
Quick now hide for this goddess is drawing toward me.
Let hope have angel wings for her not to see.
Oh what's this tis her pillow soft hand in mine.
Is this a hurtful trick, a joke or did our hearts intertwine?
Come forth evil legions and cut my traitorous heart out.
She has kissed me and I want to jump and shout.
May this not be a dream please let this be true.
Proclaim shall I that I really love you.
