Day Dream

by Jason   Oct 4, 2007

Some dare to dream but never do,
Others act as if they already knew,
The places you've been define who you are
Each untold future, equivalents a fading star.
To be always faithful, and humble are freeing
Proven knowledge and wisdom, allows a mouthful of bleeding
The waterfalls of days only add to the story
The depths of the pools amounting to each his glory
A reflection contained becomes shattered within
An unsmiling face produces the biggest grin
From the despair of shame comes victory thought unattained
The peak of relief is relief just the same.
To once be thought as the highlight of a dream
Now only the haze of suddenly realizing
That what you once thought was beyond your reach
Is really now attainable, you just have to believe
