Time

by N J Thornton   Nov 28, 2007

Time isn't a second,
or a sound, or a movement,
it's where I am and you are.
Time isn't something you can save,
see, or savour;
it passes at a distance -
unnoticed.
Time is my favourite thought
and favourite place to be,
it's where genius creates,
the curious chance
and where you wait
for me.

Inspired by the movie The Lake House.
To be published November 2008.

    Ooh. simple and pretty. the ONLY thing i can say that MIGHT be not good and can be improved is "favourite" is used twice in a sentence, so its kinda repetitive (which isnt the purpose here like alliteration or anything). besides that its really good and i like it
