Fear

by barbara   Jan 10, 2008

Childhood experiences that leave your heart black
somehow consumed by what you lack

struggling to deny your fate
a world trapped, forced to meditate

stormy clouds roll in over head
as men and women in iraq are lying dead

a president who shows no emotion
run by a government with lack of devotion

gangs are rising in the streets
as the next generation sits lost in their seats

rape, murder, rise of crime
with all of this chaos there isn't much time

striving for THINGS instead of love and family
becoming a world obsessed with vanity

with all of this becoming so clear
no wonder the world is trapped in FEAR!!
