Conformity

by barbara   Jan 10, 2008

Fashion tredns buzz in a and out
as wardrobe's are remade
mindless zombies wander about
as uniqueness starts to fade

the same fad hairstyle from the stars
the color of this season
suddenly cool trapped behind bars
a rhyme without a reason

suddenly i have a rep
something i should "maintain"
i need to declare jock, nerd, or prep
this conformity is insane

i refuse to try to be better than you
it's more important im better than me
i wont conform;ill stand unique and true
ill be the best i can be

to try and impress by being "bad a*s"
a route i refuse to take
it makes me happy to PASS my class
why for friends are you fake?

the worst is walking down the hall
and hearing the whispering snakes
"she's too fat, too skinny, too tall"
nothing but an army of fakes

so go ahead and critique if you please
im happy being just me
your whole life will be spent on your knees
bound to the laws of conformity!!!!

no, seriously you are right and those conformists just waste their life and theit uniqueness trying to be a fashion icon
    flow is flawless
