Anything At All

Nothing like an illusion
to take away the pain.
Anything to comfort yourself
as your staring at the rain.
Anyway to catch a glimpse
of the sun you long to see.
Anything to help yourself,
to help you forget about me.
Anything to prove you're right
so that I can only be wrong.
Anything to prove I'm weak
to show how you're so strong.
Anything to prove I'm bad
just to show you're good.
Anything to make things right.
Anything that could.
I believe you're misconceiving
no matter which story you tell
because nothing can change the way
I was the one to walk, you're the one who fell.
I was the one to bask in happiness
knowing I'm better alone.
You were the one who committed the crime
that made me have to go.
