and everything felt alright
when nightmares slowly died

and my tears began to dry.
when hear swam through my body
and my soul stepped out of the cold
your image replaced my memories
and my past grew more old.
when i finally corrected my mistakes
and changed the life i lived
i knew you were the reason
i could forgive the girl i am.
when i found a place i felt sage
and i found it in your arms
i knew i found a sanctuary
and could let o of hates harm
when i finally trusted love again
