Depression has me constantly contemplating suicide
Thoughts of death forever playing through my mind...

Afraid to close my eyes and sleep
Lately my thoughts have been deep...

I shot another man today
Hit him in the head as he ran away...

Close my eyes before I sleep
Ask the lord for my soul to keep...

Tested the depth of water with both feet
And so I learnt to swim...

I tried the stereotypes
They were just not my type...

Living a life of chasing dreams
On silent nights we still fight the internal...
