Afraid to sleep

Afraid to close my eyes and sleep
Lately my thoughts have been deep
Thinking of the voice that awaits in my dreams
Cause when I call for help no my hears my screams
So awake into the dark i stare
Im afraid of another nightmare
The evil creatures come to play at night
My eyes wide open untill i see the morning light
Its only then i can finally rest
But i can still feel it waiting inside my chest

    Well written its good to see you writing about your inner demons you will see you are not alone in your battles, many of us do excactly the same. This was a good poem but i thought you could touch a bit more on the emotional side of things. Well done. Grant
