I wrote a very good poem but I really don't know how to end it!! Can someone please give me some pointers on how to end a poem instead of letting it just run-on?

Well. Think of your situation. If it's something that actually happened to you, think of how it ended. If it's not. Put your self in that situation and think of how it would end.

If it's a story, come up with a moral.

If it's a general feeling kind of poem, end it with a summary.

If you're writing four-line stanzas, end with a couplet.

If you're writing solid lines, end with a single line.

Do something to make the ending stand out, either technically or content-wise.

I think each poem is different, i often struggle to end my poems and i think it often works out really powerful to repeat just one word to end it, or the first line can often end a poem.

just play around with it, there is no time limit on poems, you can always go back to it instead of forcing yourself to finish it there and then. x

Hehe. I have written a "good" poem that had a terrible ending thanks to lack of inspiration...but people said they liked it. Just wait for inspiration to strike then work on it.
