Hey Luna, since it makes you think of dwarves, you could do it about them if you wanted. As long as you incorprated the scenary above their homes and put the picture with it too! :)

Can't wait to read your entry!

I will probably extend the deadline since I know Luna Blue is going to enter. Are there any more entries or people interested? I would like a lot more people joining, please.

    To Be Whole

    Sometimes, when you are gone
i need some peace and quiet
I need to rest my head
because in there it is a riot

    Then I walk alone
I go, and very far too
    It's a simple necessity
It's what I need to do

Finally I end up in nature
    nature in its truest form
    I walk between the fireflies
    and instantly feel reborn

    I can finally sit still
    upon a big, smooth rock
    try to understand the thoughts
that I had during my walk

it makes me feel so tiny
    to sit beneath this tree
then again, when I had my time
    afterwards, I feel carefree

    When I complete my walk
An entire day has almost passed
I find my way back to you,
calm, happy and whole at last

    There. :) I hope it's okay. ^^

The picture reminds me of a mystical place.

    My Mystical Place

    In this world I see,
    Anything can happen,
    All so mystical,
Just like a perfect fairy tale,

    Dragons soar up high,
    Gnomes roam down below,
    All in a world alike,
A place of peace and serenity,

    Nothing can go wrong here,
    Its the perfect escape,
    Nobody is rejected,
    But accepted with open arms,

Faries and pixies fly as one,
    Vampires adn werewolves united again,
Eveyone and everything works hand in hand,
    Not one left out,

    This is my mystical place
You look and see for yourself,
A place you can dream on your own,
    Where happiness truely exists,

Okay, this is my first one of these...
And I'm doing a Haiku Series, probably because Haiku reminds me so much of nature. And the picture is of nature so it only made sense to me.
    :)

    Ancient Tree.

    Ancient tree breathes life
into me as I climb up
    old cobblestone steps.

    This tree; my friend. How
    lovely when invited in
    to warm affection.

    Offered kind shelter
    among this fairytale wood
    where fiction mingles.

    A playground so fine,
    imagination runs wild,
    as my body's freed.

    This tree; guardian,
    watching over everything,
    especially me.

    As I prance around,
    fingers caressing magic,
    my tree, awaiting.

    These trees, our saviors,
    with a life only to give;
    oxygen I breathe.

    A life of beauty,
    given by our forestry;
    Ancient tree breathes life.

    Corners of Your Mind

    They come at night
    To bring darkness, and light
    They work beneath your feet
They listen to your heart beat

    They fill you with madness
    Along with a little fear
    When you are alone
    You know they are near

    Keeping track of your thoughts
    Keeping track of your emotions
They fill your thoughts as you lay in bed
They get in your mind along with your head

    They sleep in the forest
    So they cannot be found
    They stay in a tree
They keep your mind tied and bound

Little brainwaves not to be forgot
    When comes to your instincts
The impact they have is alot

This is my first of these. So i hope you like it. : )

    Broken Steps

    Walking down these broken steps
    I see a broken tree
    I don't know why I thought this
But it made me think of me

The tree, broken down but beautiful
    Reminded me of my heart
    And how it has been
    From the very start

    Its extremely loving nature
But as tough as its bark
    It's hard to see
Behind the bark that hides my heart

But when you look behind the bark
You see the beauty with in
You no longer see the tears
But you see the real me, with in

When i was walking away from the tree
I found a way for the real me to be
When i was walking on the broken steps
My broken dreams faded from me

    A Midsummer Night's Dream

    Twinkling lights
    Glorious in shimmering beauty
    Flutters down from the heavens
    Brushing the midland forest
    This Midsummer Night

    Hoary stone steps,
    Cracked and worn with age
    Lead to the ancestral oak,
    Centuries later, still standing,
    Guarding its secrets within

    The hollow in the tree,
    The entrance to Titania's Kingdom!
    Dark and lurid,
    Nothing but gloom and shadows
    For distaste of mankind

    One small, glowing light
    Floats towards the ancestral tree.
In a flash of shimmering glory
    Hollow wood reveals a scene
    Of dazzling beauty

In a second, the picture has vanished
The Queen has barred her doors.
    The forest dims,
    Returning to night’s shadows
    This tableau, gone,
    Seemingly nothing but a Dream...

    Done. Hope you like! :)

Okay, I have finished and the winner is:

Aweing Ashes with her poem "Ancient Tree". This was really close and it was so hard to pick because everyone's poem was filled with such innocence and magic, it was so hard for me to pick but I felt Aweing Ashes had a unique display, entrancing imagery and a friendly love that never diminished. Congratulations! Please pm or post here the poems you would like commented, thank you!

Everyone else thanks so much for entering what wonderful poets you are! Please pm me or post here the one comment you would like to receive!

    God bless you!
