Writing Poetry.

I am wondering, as I so often do, how many of you get your ideas for writing or how you have to be feeling in order to write your poem. I am wanting to try different ways of how to write my poems by putting myself in different environments for creativity.

I will go ahead and start. I get my ideas from my everyday life and the little things around such as the trees rustling and people going back and forth. I look at things that are little and turn them into something that is big. Also I get a lot of inspiration from reading other peoples work as it gives me ideas of what to write about. And obviously for anyone who know me I have a bad childhood and thus I write off of those emotions a lot.
