Through thine eyes

by viraz vitalia   Feb 9, 2008

Through thine eyes I see my land
I see it invaded
I see it taken
Through thine eyes this I see
I see you take my land
I see you destroy my home
Through thine eyes I know you see
See in thine eyes the pain thou hath caused
Through thine eyes I see the trees fall
And bring forth the scorned voices of the birds
Through thine eyes I watched you take
Food from the mouths of thine children
Children of the land
Through thou's eyes you saw progress
What needed to be done
But through thine eyes
I saw the lives taken
Lives of thine children
Through thine eyes
I see nothing
For thine eyes hath closed
Thou hath closed them thyself
