A friend Like you

by whitney fox   Feb 9, 2008

She sat in the corner afriaid to move

Fearing that death would be coming soon

All alone she sat and cried

Being strangled in her own web of lies

The more she struggled the worse it got

Tears began to fall down her face

As she silently accepted her fate

Alone in that corner she was afraid to move

Thank god i have a friend like you

Because i once was that girl in the corner

Where i sat alone

My life looked barren

I was drained of hope

Until the day you came along

That's the day i was saved

I no longer sit alone
