Morning Life

by Erica   Feb 11, 2008

New Whispers shake the starts of morning light
As dreams dissolve with pieces left of night
A man wakes early, yet still running late
The busses never have the time to wait
He worries work will wonder where hes been
Hes also missed the sunrise once again
A woman wakes herself to shut the blinds
Then slowly sifts through time in coffee grinds
Shes hurting for a place she can confide
But hasn't even thought to look outside
Where all her troubled thoughts will drift away
And only ant the sight of living day
Few people see where beauty still survives
True beauty lost into their morning lives

Flow is there, rhyme is there, and so is the message. We all should just slow down or get out of bed to apprciate the morning. 5/5.
