My Love, My Everything

by Madison   Feb 18, 2008

He is everything I speak and do.
He is completely honest, sweet, and true.
He walks with simple dignity, honor, and pride.
Everyone knows him,
But no one has seen his other side.
Nobody but me, the only one who holds the key.
His love is passionate, complex, and deep.
I have given him my heart.
It is his to keep.
The pure truth lies just beneath his smokey blue eyes,
The pure truth that I have been searching for
For such a long time.
It's difficult to believe he is really mine!
He is everything to me.
He has been from the start.
Even when we first were friends,
He tightly held my heart.
To me, he is a vast and glorious sea
Filled with enchanting escapades
That I am only yet to embark upon.
He is also the shimmer of light that helps me catch my airborne baton.
He is the sunshine in my morning
And moonlight in my night.
He is the shining stars hung so high in the dark sky.
He is the towering oak tree that stands firmly and strong above all.
He is also the sparrow's sharp, distinct call.
He is all four seasons, each special in it's own way.
He is all the reasons why I commit to what I say.
He is the soft, summer rain that falls across my windowpane.
He is the weightless, white snow.
And also the music at my show.
He is the sparkling sand at the beach
And the warm, summer heat.
He is the lovely grace and beauty of a freshly picked flower.
He is the clock upon the wall . . . every single hour.
Loving him is truly a great pleasure and joy.
He is definitely the most handsome and charming boy.
I have finally found my nonfiction fairytale,
A real-life love that will certainly never fail.
