Starting today

Starting toda the world
should be put on hold.
But starting today, it seems
as though it's only going faster.
Time is sped up and blurred
To save all from the pain.
AS of today I fear the future.
And savor the present time.
As of today my lungs lose air,
as my heart grows louder.
Because of today my head still hurts
and my mind still runs.
Because of today,
I miss you already.
