Beginning In Want, Ending In Need [Of Your Love]

by RB   Feb 18, 2008

Penetrating desire,
Fills an aching heart,
All begin in want,
-A lesson to impart.

Growing curiosity,
Filling hungry eyes,
Breathing gets harder,
See what it implies?

Time it swiftly passes,
Wanting disappears,
Feelings do transform,
Heart is shifting gears.

No longer in want,
Instead in dire need,
Cannot breathe alone,
Off this love I feed.

Lost when lacking,
This addictive scent,
Must keep the heart,
That has been lent.

Necessity of mine,
To hold your hand,
Unaccompanied-
Unable to stand.

Beginning in want,
Ending in need,
Taking this love,
Without greed.
