SOLDIERS

Soldiers fight for Freedom true,
On the road of a perilous way
Let us honor those the few, for
Death he claims them there to stay.
If he should escape Death's own grip
Endearing those, that fell before
Remembering those that made the trip
Sailing home to Freedom's shore.

    Nice! Now I feel inadequate. :P I have several relatives in the military, so I fully appreciate this piece. And, for an acrostic, this flows VERY well... mine are always "chippy". :)
