This poem was the sh*t. Honestly the flow was there and made you keep on reading. And I connected to the last 2 lines especially well.

i didn't abandon you.
i just set myself free

Those lines are very powerful and given how they were used you put forth alot of emotion into them. I myself would try to capitalize the I's but that is just for me. Great poem
