I never knew

Iv been around Alberta
iv seen so many things
but i could tell your right now
you were always in my dreams

iv never left my country
i'm not particularly smart
don't got alot of money
all i can offer is my love

i wanted this to be forever
but i fell along the way
and soon that forever
was just another day

well iv been to the mountains
iv seen their snowy white peaks
i would dare the rocky rapids
just to see your smiling face

i know you may not notice
you won't even read this poem
you may not feel the same way
but thats ok because your never home

i just wanted to tell you
that to me you meant everything
i would give it all to have you
and feel safe in this empty world
