The movie night psalms

by deadly sun   Feb 25, 2008

I lay with you that night,
when you consumed all that drink.
as you became more drunk,
you seemed incapable to think.

You moved your body closer,
as I tried to move away.
You started inviting me over,
you said you wanted to play.

You promised that you were sober,
and said there'd be no regrets.
As I refused more and more,
you started turning to threats.

I cared about you intensely,
and thats why I could not comply.
I wanted you to love me,
not just to be another guy.

But after a while I pondered,
and thought maybe it'll be OK.
I just hope neither of us live,
to ever regret that day.

  • Ok so maybe I was a bit harsh the other day but I can't deny that your poems have improved dramatically I'm really suprised and I'm happy for you too that you've gotten so good (yes this is reli me saying this!)
your other poem *I'm so sorry* what was that about???
actually it was written really well and no rhymes were really forced but still
no one wants to read a friends poem when they're talking about ending it
if you are down, you know you drive me up the wall n i won't listen to you moan about pathetic things but if it's something serious then i am here, still
    xx
