Lingering Soul

by CatastrophicTragedyXx   Feb 29, 2008

The epitaph on my tombstone...
inscriptions of your last words
about how you never loved me at all.
Forever, engraved for the living
Forever, you shall be haunted by the dead.

I walk among this sorrowful world...
watching hearts crumble
as wasted tears start to fall
Forever, we enter the depression
Forever, we'll make a false impression

My soul is left unrest
Until there's no heart left to be broken
All these years that you weren't there
Forever, I will walk alone
Forever, I'll be left unknown

No longer to have such ability
to sense and feel such pain
Numb to my bones
Forever, I'll scream silently to you
Forever, I won't ever..
get a chance to tell you that
"...I really did love you."
