Starved For Love

by katrina   Mar 4, 2008

Stolen gaze, just like sunlight within my prison walls
Taken away, it's all gone and now I need you more
Cos no one knows this secret, but it's boiling in my skin
My heart cannot withhold it, why should I let them win?
Forbidden kiss, just like water on my dry desert sand
But no one wants me to survive, they just won't understand
Denied communication, so we talk with our eyes,
Our very own language that barely survives
Cos you're the one essential, my heart lives off of you
But they don't understand the depths of a love so true
So I'm barely surviving, I'm starting to fade
Cos I'm starving for love, an animal that's caged
