Love Path

by katrina   Mar 4, 2008

Looking down at my feet, focused each step
But our eyes some how meet, my hands start to sweat
Pulled off of my path, led a stray once again
By a beautiful face, laced with all of my pain
I tell myself no, but my heart starts to power
But I'm led off my trail, and my thoughts become sour
I make my way back to the edge of my path
And you pull me in with your smile and your laugh
And on the side of the road my heart starts to fall
Cos you're a distraction, you didn't love me at all
Looking down at my feet, my eyes do not stray
To look at the boy who's coming my way
I keep my head down but he stops all my tracks
And says that he loves me, as if that is a fact
I try to push past him, I try to ignore
But he won't let me go, and I start to fall
So a repetive path, a diamond in the rough
Sometimes our destractions lead us to love
