Nature's nectar

by Mr. Darcy   Mar 7, 2008

Water and air is essential
To me that what you are
So many miles from my watering hole
Means I'm always in my car

So in my metal chariot
My love it speeds its way
Through this tarmac jungle
Travelling throughout the day

Your aroma draws me closer
I can almost taste you on my tongue
This call is getting stronger
You're willing me to come

So when I reach the familiar peaks
Of the place I love the best
I know my heartache is over
I've almost reached my quest

Ever so slowly, edging closer
I see your sacred sands
Like my heart, the waters gushing
Cupping essence in my hands

Through my fingertips I feel your warm
and the request of loves vibration
Shuddering, quaking beneath my pulse
I respect your invitation

I near your budding flower
And drink the nectar as it flows
The bud that quenches opens
To form a lovely rose

You are that flower so perfectly formed
Petals silky, soft and smooth
Mother nature has worked her magic
The bee is now with you

I will fly with my rose forever
Together being guided by the breeze
The air our home, our hearts as one
Our fate, our destiny.
