New Direction

by Madison   Mar 8, 2008

I thought he was mine, but now I am in doubt.
I don't really know what any of this is about.
Unforgiving actions and lies circle me
Like a vulture preparing to snatch its prey
As I search through my confused and pounding head For the right words to say.
I think it's time for a U-turn, for me to rewind.
My Mr. Right is actually Mr. Wrong,
And my happy ending is really just a sad song.
He has felt this way longer than I'd thought.
Until now, we have never bickered
And we've never fought,
But I guess we are headed in a new direction,
And we've come to a stopping point.
We have made it to an intersection.
