Right and Wrong

by katrina   Mar 9, 2008

What stands between right and wrong, is what stands between us both...
And waging war does nothing but adds more power to our curse...
I'll bite my tongue another time, what's left of there to bite...
And you can shrug it off again, but lets face it we need to fight...
Cos we've done nothing wrong here, we've let our hearts intwine...
What's wrong with being here with you, when you said that you were mine?
No secret can hold me down, no lie can undo the work,
Cos I've been through enough with love, why should I give you up?
Just because I'm "not good enough", just because I'm strong,
Why should we be apart babe, when we're right and they are wrong?
I've accepted things I cannot change, and I've got the courage to fight...
To fight for what I should change, because I know it's right...
I know the difference between the two, but they don't seem to care...
They've just made me more determined, to be with you when they're there...
So if they think I'll give you up, because they think "we're wrong",
They've got it wrong again babe, cos right will make me strong...

Wow. Amazing. I can't describe it, but you pulled this off tremendously. :) The words you used... the length of the lines, it was perfect. :) And I can tell it was a heart-to-heart poem, which in turn, makes it more tremendous. :) Great work. 5/5
