Conflicting Emotions

These conflicting emotions
Are tearing at my heart
Are we meant to be together?
Or should we simply part?

No one will ever know
Until I make a choice
A lonely life in silence?
Or an eternity of your voice?

You know, of course I love you--
That's not what I'm worried about
But if you still love me.....
There is still some doubt.
