Choices

by Tina Carr AKA Snickers   Mar 9, 2008

Everyone is pressuring me
To raise my voice
But they don't understand
The impact of this choice

If I leave him, I'll be alone
With no one who really cares
But if I stay, I'll keep my best friend
And I know he'll always be there

If I leave him, he'll move on
He has many choices, I'm sure
But if I stay, I'll worry
About if he's fooling around with her

If I leave him, I'll move on
Maybe even find a new guy
But if I stay, there's marriage-
He's already talking about "our" life

If I leave him, there'll be pain
What if it was true love?
But if I stay there will be tears
And missing out on the life I dreamed of

No matter what happens
There will be doubts
But I honestly believe
It will work itself out

What's meant to be will be
Whether it's bad or good
Everything happens for a reason
And ends up the way it should
