Sugarplums

You asked...

"when you hear someone's name,
they say it would make you remember a thing...
what do you remember when you hear my name?"

tongue tied.
shivers.

i cant remember a thing when i hear your name.
i just freeze...
become cold as ice.

tongue tied.
shivers.

its like my feet are locked to the ground.
my heart would stop beating.
my lungs collapse.

tongue tied.
shivers.

you asked me again...

"when you hear someone's name,
they say it would make you remember a thing...
what do you remember when you hear my name?"

you wanna know the answer?
come near me and melt me.
your warmth holds the key....

tongue tied.
shivers.

This is going on my favourites. A well composed, exquisite piece of poetry.

      Hi Of Eden Nights,

Exquisite has never been given as a compliment to my work before. I am very happy and flattered to get this from you. I am not sure if I have thanked you before. It took me several years to revisit this site. Thank you again.
