Handing over my heart

Explain this to me,
All i ever wanted
Was someone to please,
Someone to care and
Not make my heart bleed.

Now that i have this
It feels like a tease,
Of all my past scares
I must take heed.

But please don't leave,
By intricate lies
My past was seized.

When speaking these words
My heart must freeze,
Take a look at,
Tear stained pillows and screams.

Ask myself if its worth the fights?
No other man would i hold so tight
Never to be let out of sight.

Let you carry me to new heights,
Forget the fights
Run to my guiding light,
To you i sign over my heart rights.
