How Could I Fall For This

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Mar 14, 2008

He never rode a horse
Ever so gallantly white
Never threw rocks at her window
To wake her up in the night
He never saved her life
From a building on fire
He never was Superman
And flew her up higher

He's just a man, he's just some guy
Who lights her whole world up and makes her smile
He's just the one, she never thought she'd find
Yet she gets lost in the way his eyes shine
He's just a man, and it was just one kiss
So how could she be falling for this
She thinks to herself, "How could I be falling for this?"

He only opened the door
To let her in first
He only called her "beautiful"
And complimented her skirt
He only touched her heart
When he held her hand
He only made her wish
That he would be her man

He's only a man, he's only some guy
Who lights her whole world up and makes her smile
He's only the one, she never thought she'd find
Yet she gets lost in the way his eyes shine
He's only a man, and it was only one kiss
So how could she be falling for this?
I think to myself, "How could I fall for this?
Maybe love made me fall for this"
