I Love you, I really do

Staring at the one that i love
telling her i will never leave her
and that she means the world to me
but yet my words become a tangled mess

She looks at me with concern
and she doesn't know what to say
yet i know theres many questions
wondering inside her head

but she doesn't say a single word
she just puts her head upon my shoulder
and i put my arms around her
just so that she knows that i really love her

But then she pushes me away
and says" you smell like alcohol!"
and i dont say a single word
b/c the words i would have said would have been hurtful

Then she says "you promised, you had promised
that you wouldn't anymore! how can i be
with someone who is always lying to me
and yet still love them with all my heart?"

Then a few hours later, my love, my darling
went into the bathroom and quickly locked the door
I heard her screams and her crys
i yelled, for i knew what she was doing

I tried to open the door, but all she did was yell
& then she came out, i had so much concern in my eyes
I finally knew the way that she had felt
she had felt so much pain from the pain i caused her

I held her in my arms
and all i did was tell her"i love you, i really do"
