My Everything; You're Everywhere

by No Name Needed   Mar 15, 2008

When I think of past thoughts,
Look back upon past dreams,
Reminisce on memories,
You preoccupy my life it seems.

When I count on my experience,
I realise that it's all thanks to you,
You've taught me all there is to know,
It'd be a lie to say it isn't true.

I've met other girls who I'm hopeful of,
But so often they just come and go,
Then a special one comes along,
But then I realise it just isn't so.

My parents made me who I am,
But you went and changed everything,
I'm my own person but you can always overrule,
Seems you've got me on a string.

I think back to when we were introduced,
A memory I could never forget,
Then all the time I spent with you,
You left me here with but one regret.

I just wish I could've made it better,
Not what we were but how you felt,
Coz you're the only one I put before myself,
The only one that could make me melt.

I want you to take just something,
Even if it's just a smile,
All I want you to know is this;
Through everything it's been worthwhile.

And I now know as I look back,
That there's not a person who can compare,
You're in my thoughts, dreams and memories,
Still to this day, you're everywhere.
