Phone call

by Jessy   Mar 15, 2008

She picked up the phone and dialed the keys.
He picked up the line his voice at ease.
Hey how is life treating you?
I've been OK since we have been through.
Did you miss me or think of me at all?
Oh . . . You didn't, is that why you didn't call?
Me, i didn't miss you, so it's all cool.
Was is a mistake breaking up with me, or was I the fool?
What was your reason, or did you just feel like it?
These last ten months, ain't that some shit.
Nah, we never talk, but that's OK!
Didn't you say you never had feeling for me anyways?
I wish I could say the same, you killed me inside.
I was always there for you but all that died.
Nah, I won't lie I've been wondering about you.
I miss the past and all we used to do.
It's cool, I know you don't feel the same.
But you could have left me alone to rid me from this pain.
Well it was nice catching up. See you around.

She hung up the phone, with no hope found.
