Deaths too soon greed

by killingkupid   Mar 16, 2008

On that day
the sun glinted on loves eye,
reflected of water welling.
Giving only moments glimpse
at sadness within,
at hurt bestowed upon the other.
A sound never muttered,
starring through blurriness,
understood forgiveness flows over sorrow.
Last moments turn to eons.
All human dicier remembered,
then forgotten.
An emptiness filled with Life's burdens,
and joys.
Death's takings,
Life's givings,
times of depression and love,
dance and fleet across the face.
The face that has known tragedies,
opened eyes to worlds unseen,
whispered Fate's deepest secrets,
and rode rides unimaginable.
Eons fad back to reality,
a moment left.
Life's weaknesses succumb.
Final breath set free,
to warn angels of young coming,
of Death's too soon greed.
Of a love lost to me.
