True Friend

One who makes me happy
whenever i am sad
One who is always with me
even when I'm bad

One who really knows me
not the mask that i am in
One who understands
my true feelings within.

One who knows when to talk
and when to just be there
One who'd walk with me
anytime, anywhere.

One who'd let me learn
to walk on my own two feet
One who reminds me that God is there
when i with troubles meet.
