How strong is she?

She was just 11 when her world came crashing down.
the confusion, it drove her insane.
she ignored her inner voice for far too long and she was about to break.
she could not help but notice the pretty girls with their long and curly brown hair.
their beautiful big eyes and glowing red lips with skin so soft and flawless.
her oblivious boyfriend, she betrayed, but she never meant to hurt him.
she thought it was a stage that all girls went through, but how wrong was she.
"how can this be that a girl like me takes interest in another girl?" she asked herself.
how often she beat herself down because of her sweet obsession.
it's him she holds, but only her she dreams of.
how will they ever be together? the guilt it drove her insane.
she prayed and prayed to God that He might take this feeling away.
she prayed for so long but there was no response.
she decided to turn her back on God and shut Him out.
she lives in shame and hides her face from those who seek to judge.
how will she survive, when will she fall?
the world waits to see, how strong is she?
